She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmar Bettis and Edna Bettis; her daughter Renee "Kidder" Pack; and also Royal Kidder. She is survived by: her children, Wayne "Tinker" Smith Jr. (Jo) of Mayflower and Debbie King (Kenneth) of Cabot; and her sister Marie Davis of Jonesboro.
