He is survived by: his children, Albert Dale Helmes, Jr. of Beebe, Charles Ray Patterson (Ashley) of Batesville, Kevin Lee Helmes (Autumn) of Hot Springs, Kimberly Helmes Gray (William) of Kensett and Felicia Landon of Lonoke; his siblings, Rocky Helms of Lonoke, Mitchell Evans of Lonoke and Tina Sutterfield (Keith) of Lonoke; and his grandchildren, Conner, Olivia, James, Bow, Malia, Kevin, Sofia, Lia, Leo, Eli, Jonathon, Jimmy and Trayce.
