She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Barnes and Avanell Barnes; and her husband John Bass. She is survived by: her husband Flat Rock Baptist Church; her daughter Vicki (Wayne McDaniels) of Scottsville; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Justin Mayhew), Alyssa Currin and John-Robert Schwindt; her great grandchildren, Jacoby, Jaqueline, Johnny, Gracelynn, Kalijah, Scarlett and Bentleigh; her brothers, Charles Barnes and David Barnes; and her son-in-law Edwin Schwindt.
