He is survived by: his daughter Kristian Marie Derby (Richard) of New Haven, Connecticut; his grandson Joseph Derby; his brother William Floyd; his sister-in-law Betty Jegstrup of Lockesburg; his sister Betty Jewel; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Ed Jewel of Ashdown and Melba Jegstrup of Dallas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
