It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Suzanna Winer Thompson of Lockesburg, Arkansas, born in De Queen, Arkansas, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son John Leonard Thompson (John John); her parents, Leo Winer and Mary Peck Winer; her husband Jack Leonard; and her brother Terry Winer.
She is survived by: her children, Jackson Thompson of Lockesburg, Jimmy (Vanessa Thompson) of Lockesburg and Susie (Brent Carver) of Lockesburg; her grandchildren, Jesse Keaton, Bryce Keaton and K'leeh; her great grandchildren, Emma, Lucy, Kyler, Brian and Drake; her sister Bette; her brother-in-law Danny White of Dierks, Arkansas; and her cousin Charlene Slaton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
