McWhorter; his grandson Austin Brackett; his brother Jerry McWhorter; his wife Sandra Pruitt McWhorter; his daughter Terry Brackett; his mother Amy Jane Crunk McWhorter; his siblings, Billy McWhorter of Lockesburg, Jimmy McWhorter of Lockesburg and Diana Shaw of Nash, Texas; and his grandson Aaron Brackett (Kara Walker). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
