With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bessie Thornton of Lockesburg, Arkansas, who passed away on September 4, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Dixson and Minnie Ayers Dixson; her husbands, Thomas Thornton and David Wisnoskie; her grandson Shelby Todd Elliott; her daughter-in-law Joan Thornton; and her siblings, Eugene, Leo Dixson and Mary Conatser.
She is survived by: her great great grandchild Corban; her children, Thomas Ray Thornton of Lockesburg, Toni (Gaylon Alexander), Cheryl (Shelby Elliott) and Lisa (David Jones); her grandchildren, Carolyn, Todd, Tony Ray, Becky, Michael, Samantha and J. D.; and her sisters, Laverne Renfrow of Lockesburg and Ernestine Clay of Lockesburg.
The use of face mask or covering will be required during your time at the funeral home.
