He is survived by: his sister Lauren Greenleaf; and his niece Jetta Rose.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Zach's name to We Are the 22, an Arkansas nonprofit who are combating the veteran suicide epidemic through direct, peer-based suicide intervention.
