She was predeceased by: her children, Herman Jr. and Wivolene Jr.; her grandsons, Keith E. Wilbert Jr. and Prentiss Carter Mitchell; and her siblings, Ulysess Jones, Joseph and Josephine Jones.
She is survived by: her significant other Herman L. Mitchell, Sr.; her children, Love, Eric Brent, Sheila Melanie (Vince), Sybil Mitchell, Sarita Mitchell, Eldred Mitchell (Annette), Brent Mitchell (Christine), Errol Mitchell Sr., Lynn Mitchell (Brenda) and Edgar Brian Mitchell; her sister Lillie Mae Turner; and her sister-in-law Virginia Mitchell. She is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
