He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Louise Haley and John Edward Thornburgh; his brother-in-law Clifford Darrell Wakefield; and his nephew William Timothy Thornburgh. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Pauline Thornburgh; his children, Kim (Herb), Becky (Mike), Little Tim (Susan), Mellisa (Jeff), Shelley, Sheila and Steve Belew (Mary); and his grandchildren, Chris (Sandy), Lorren, Anna (Warren), Chase (Kelly), Alexa, Adam (Annie), Megan (Devin), Lacey (Lee), Austin (Dani), Hannah, Chloe (Drew), Ashlee (Jace), James, Hope, Jordyn and Cooper. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dial and Dudley Funeral Home (4212 AR-5, Bryant, AR 72022). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pinecrest Memorial Park (7401 AR-5, Alexander, AR 72002).
