He was predeceased by: his parents, George Haney and Mabel Haney; and his siblings, Beatrice M. Scogin, Thelma M. Calhoun, Oscar W. Miles, Harold Haney, Aileen Haney Coston, R. J. Haney and Irma H. Altman.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn Temple Haney; his daughters, Susannah Monta (Anthony), Stacy O'Brien (David) and Samantha Neukom; his grandchildren, Drew Monta, Jonathan Monta, Caroline Monta, Clare O'Brien and Poppy Neukom; and his nephews, Dan Coston and Ken Coston. He is also survived by many other nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.
