She was predeceased by: her husband Boyce "Dee" Helms. She is survived by: her children, Dee Anne Helms Palmer (Mike) of Glen Allen, Virginia Helms and Russ Franklin Helms (Linda) of Brisbane; her grandchildren, Nicole Reece Mount (Eric) of Searcy, Tyler Reece of West Chester, Meredith Palmer of Glen Allen and Caroline Palmer of Glen Allen; her great grandchildren, Reece Mount, Chloe Mount and Anderson Mount of Searcy; and her parents, Norman Waddill and Vada Waddill. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Despite the pain and fog of Alzheimer's, Joan always remembered her heavenly Father.
