He was predeceased by: his parents, Cash Taylor and Jennie Lee Taylor; his wife Lucille Cash; and his siblings, Lamar Cash Sr., Billy Cash Sr., Edward Cash (Duck), JC Cash Sr., Jerry Cash, Gary Cash (Rabbit), Michael Cash (Buckwheat) and Margaret Cash.
He is survived by: his sisters, Tammy Copeland, Diane Harvey and Edith Looper; and his sons, Virgil Cash Jr., Leonard Cash and Christopher Cash. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
