He was predeceased by: his parents, James King and Opal Elsie Puckett; and his siblings, Mary Belcher, Jean Gray and Jimmy Wallace.

He is survived by: his daughter Opal Carmella King; his granddaughter Nichole Graham; and his brother Donnie Wallace. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
