He was predeceased by: his parents, Van E. Manning Sr. and Mary Bracy Manning of Little Rock; his former wife Mary Lackey Manning (Maisie); and also Mary Bracy Manning of Little Rock. He is survived by: his wife Julia Gray Manning of Memphis; and his stepchildren, Ed Barham of Fayetteville, AR., Beth Barham of Fayetteville, AR. and Leigh Ann Barham of Fayetteville, AR..
