He is survived by: his brother Ricky Gates (Beverly); his children, Nicole Gates West, Jason Gates (April) and Brittany Witty (Kenny); and his grandchildren, Gavin, Kylie Witty, Kaylin Witty and Aubrey West. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
