He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alexander Trantham and Willah Marie Greer Trantham; his sisters, Geneva Perry, Betty Jo Campbell and Maureen Smith; and his significant other Nancy Gene Strunk Trantham.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Trantham and Terri Trantham; his grandchildren, Alexi Alan Janske and Whitten Janske; and his siblings, James Trantham (Liz), Jerry Trantham, Shirley Sedder, Pat Hammock (Curtis), Sandra Trantham and Judy Milam (Gary). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, friends.
Tommy was inducted into the Arkansas Softball Hall of Fame as well as the University of Arkansas Sports Hall of Honor, an accolade that celebrated not only his athletic achievements but also his enduring character, work ethic and contributions to the community.
