She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Aldon and Myrtle Mae Johnson Bigham; her husband Oscar Laverne Alagood; her daughter Pamela Taylor; and her siblings, Patricia Willis and Wendell Bigham.

She is survived by: her children, Greg Alagood (Laura) and Nancy Meredith (Dennis) of Little Rock; her son-in-law Larry Taylor of Garland, Texas; her grandchildren, Leah (Peter), Lana (Taylor), John (Kara), Rebecca, David, Daniel (Holly) and Kevin; and her great grandchildren, Nolan, Brennan and Rylan. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
