He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lay (Virginia Gray) and Virginia Gray. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Cain Lay of Little Rock; his children, Mike Lay of Dumas, Chris Lay (Amber) of Gillett, Steve Lay, Jr. (Tiffany) of Maumelle and Shanna Place (Seth) of Gillett; and his sisters, Carolyn Miller (Mike) of Jonesboro and Brenda Wilkins of Pace. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
