She was predeceased by: her parents, Atticus Ray (Penny) and Ina Verne Pendergrass (Duty); her husband Sam Cooper; her brother Bill Pendergrass; and her nephew David Allen Pendergrass.
She is survived by: her pet Molly; her sisters, Patsy Giles and Janet Johnson (Ruben); her granddaughters, Haley (Luke), Mary Elise, Fran and Bron; her nieces, Shelly (David) and Lindsay (Jacob); and her nephew Andrew (Kristin). She is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews.
