She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Gibson and Clover Gibson; her son-in-law Sam Ratliff; and her grandson Christopher Ernst. She is survived by: her sister Clover Ann Orfanos; her children, Kim Ratliff, Brooke, Erin, Annie, Peter and Sandy Aldern (Sam); her grandsons, Ezra, Jared and Jackson; her daughter Leslie Benson (Scott); and her grandchildren, Vanessa and Morgan. She is also survived by her 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Saint Paul's Episcopal Church music.
