He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudius Deaton and Ola Mae Deaton; his wife Murl Jean McManus of Camden; his grandson Bart Deaton; and his siblings, Claude Deaton, Martha Crosby and Raymond Deaton.
He is survived by: his children, Kyle Deaton (Betty) of Queen City, TX, Melanie Churchill of Little Rock, Darla Deaton Nasello of Maumelle and Adair Melton (Charlie) of New Boston, TX.; his grandchildren, Lanie Konecny (David) of Little Rock, Kyla Owen (Josh) of New Boston, TX, Mallory Melton of Austin, TX, Kaylin Melton of Fayetteville, Brynn Nasello of Maumelle, Conner Melton of New Boston, TX and Ainsley Nasello of Fayetteville; his great grandchildren, Carter James, John David, George Thomas Konecny of Little Rock, Landon Scott Granbery and Randall Lane Owen of New Boston, TX.; and his uncle Tommy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
