He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Elizabeth and John B. Honea. He is survived by: his wife Lolly Honea; his daughters, Kristen Grace McCready (Todd McCready) of Little Rock and Michelle Honea-Frueauff (David Frueauff) of Little Rock; his granddaughters, Maggie Dyer, Caroline Dyer and McKenzie McCready; his brother John B. Honea (Jane Honea) of Little Rock, Arkansas; his nieces and nephews, Karen Eckhardt, Kevin Honea and Kim Hall; his brother-in-law Lewis Prather (Amber); his niece Saylor Foster; and his nephew Joe Prather.

Memorials should be directed to the St. James UMC Music Department or the G. Felix Thompson Scholarship Fund at St. James UMC.
