He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Childress and Laura Lewis Childress. He is survived by: his children, Chris Childress, Steven Childress, Stan Childress, Kimberly Reinert and Brandy Frisbee; his sons-in-law, William Raines and RJ Hardin; his grandchildren, Austin Childress, Amber Bailey, Shade Orton, Vanessa Orton, Steven Frisbee and Grace Frisbee; and his great grandchildren, Zachary Raymond Welsh, Jr., Desmond Welsh and Levi Fisher.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Buie Funeral Home- Rison (302 North Main St. P. O. Box 327, Rison, AR 71665). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
