He was predeceased by: his children, Staci Ellis and Ricky Holmes, Jr.; and his brother James Moten, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Holmes and Pamela Holmes; his siblings, Frank Whitmore, Larry Moten, Holmes, Jr., Martha Broom, Mary Johnson, Betty James, Sheila Holmes and Shirley Faye Holmes; and his granddaughters, Maya Watson and Nova Raye Holmes. He is also survived by aunts, uncles.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM at the Hardy Funeral Home (5300 W 12th St, Little Rock, AR 72204). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
