It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Wayne Barringer of Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilliard Barringer and Odell Coddington Barringer; and his daughter Lisa Lynn Barringer Reed. He is survived by: his wife Jacquie Cruce Barringer; and his children, Richard Todd Barringer (Jessie) and Lana Barringer Orman. He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Little Rock Funeral Home (8801 Knoedl Ct, Little Rock, AR 72205). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
