With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard H Horton of Little Rock, Arkansas, born in Camden, Arkansas, who passed away on August 13, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Horton and Eardene Thrower Horton. He is survived by: his wife Zephyr Livingston Horton; his children, Richard Horton, Jr. of Little Rock, Charles Horton of Little Rock and Sherita Smith; his siblings, Russell Horton (Cynthia) of Little Rock, Oscar Horton (Miriam) of Tampa, Florida and Mercille Springer (Paul) of Little Rock; and his grandson Tre Smith of Dallas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
His first priority was always to make sure his family was taken care of and to insure his children had a firm foundation.
