She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Michael Hampel and Marie Hart Hampel; her son Brian Mitchell McCown; her granddaughter Rachael Stewart; and her son-in-law Nathan Hartzell (Robert McCown).
She is survived by: her sister Dana Jo Hampel Tueller (Ron); her son Steven McCown; her granddaughters, Candice and Chelsea (Eric); her daughter Sheila Hartzell; her grandchildren, Adam, Ethan (Charlotte), Evan (Susanna), Alex, Elizabeth and Emily; her daughter Elise Hawks; her grandsons, Jacob (Micayla) and Griffin; her daughter-in-law Sonya McCown; and her granddaughters, Michelle Eddins (Cody) and Jennifer McCown. She is also survived by cousins and great grandchildren.
