He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Cato and Pearl Ruple Cato; and his brother Vernon Cato. He is survived by: his wife Zanette; his children, Melanie Tiner (James), Darren, Duane Cato (Tonya) and Phyllis Courtney (Billy); and his grandchildren, Peyton, Madison, Lacee, Riley, Hunter, Jeremy, Chad and Amanda. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
