She was predeceased by: her parents, Bart McManus and Mell McManus of Camden, AR.; her brother Lavon; her sister-in-law Helen McManus; and her grandson Bart Deaton.
She is survived by: her husband Tommy Deaton; and her children, Kyle Deaton (Betty) of Queen City, TX, Melanie Churchill of Little Rock, AR, Darla Nasello of Maumelle, AR and Adair Melton (Charlie) of New Boston, TX.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Murl's memory to Fairview United Methodist Church.
