He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Allen and Theogenia Melanson (Winston). He is survived by: his children, Louis M. Melanson (Connie) of Hamburg and Bonnie Vest (Greg) of Magnolia; his grandchildren, Sean Melanson (Raechel), Logan Melanson, Dillon Melanson of Crossett and Emilie Vest of Magnolia; and his sister Tricia Russel of Oklahoma City, OK. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and friends.
