She was predeceased by: her husband Wilburn L. Ivy Sr.; her daughters, Valerie Peterson and Debbie Ivy; her parents, Ezikel Tappin and Pearlean Tappin; and her grandson Wilfred Eaton Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Anita Vaughn, Barbara K. Williams, Wilburn Ivy, Sharon Williams and Susan Reed-Moore; and her siblings, Louis Tappin, Norman Tappin Sr., Kay Ridgeway, Billy Tappin, Vivian Lambert and Levern Tappin. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
