She was predeceased by: her former husband Jack Whitworth; and her granddaughter Melissa Smith. She is survived by: her husband Harvey Derrick; and her children, Nancy Brummett (Fred), Donald Whitworth (Georgia), Sharon Jeans (Mark), Harvey P. Derrick II, Jackson S. Derrick and Thomas A. Derrick. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
