He is survived by: his spouse Billie Jo Eddins; his children, Clayton (Martha) of Little Rock and Becky Riemer (Kirk); his grandchildren, Jay Taylor, Sam Taylor (Janis), Allison Riemer (Alex) and Andrew Riemer; and his great grandchild Olivia.

“I just learned that Marvin had passed away and want to express my sympathy for his family. I would surely have attended a memorial service in his honor. He was a good man and a good friend. He was a longtime leader of the group of retirees from the Employment Security Division/Department and continued to advocate for employees and retirees of state government. I will miss being able to share our love of music; memories of former co-workers; and Marvin's delightful sense of humor.”
