She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Nowden; and her children, Debra Burt and Ronald Nowden. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Nowden, Rodney Nowden, Artie Nowden, Margaret Lewis, Dora James, Harold Nowden, John Nowden and Victor Johnson; her sister Cleo Henderson; and her cousin Dr. W. E. McGowan. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren.
