As Mamie Jane departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mamie Jane. Though Mamie Jane may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christine Harris-Nelson and Lee Willie Nelson Sr.; her brother Lee Willie Nelson Jr.; and her great grandchild Elijah D. Walker. She is survived by: her husband Charlie Collins; her children, Rena Swinney, Carlus Walker, Anthony Walker, Edwin Brown, Curtis Walker and Lora Allen; and her sister Essie Larkin (Twenty). She is also survived by Twenty Six Grandchildren, Thirty Six Great Grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robinson Mortuary (1201 Doctor M. L. K. Jr Dr, Little Rock, AR 72202).
