He is survived by: his parents, Chester Durell and Margaret Majors Mercer; his wife Kelly Elaine Mercer; his sons, Jackson Cameron and Adam Reid Mercer; and his sisters, Sally Johnson (Eric) of Hickory, NC and Leah Purvis (Don) of Anna Maria, FL.. He is also survived by his family, friends.
