The memory of Lawrence Ervin Bearden of Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bearden and Ruby Bearden; his son David; and his brothers, Frank and Larry.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Oliver Bearden; his sons, Richard (Shirley) and Mark; his grandchildren, Ashley Campbell (Alex), Jordan Bearden (Tyler), James Bearden (Anna), Josh, Eric and Parker Thessing; his great grandchild Aubrey Campbell; and his sister Linda Mosley (Dick).
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Proctor Funeral Home (442 Jefferson St SW, Camden, AR 71701). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Smackover First United Methodist (500 W 7th St, Smackover, AR 71762).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the SAU Foundation in support of the Richard O. Oliver Band Endowment and Smackover First Methodist Church continuing Lawrence's passion for education.
