As Larry Payton departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Larry Payton. Though Larry Payton may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Payton M. Baugh and Bettye Baugh (McGee); his brother Daniel Baugh; and his great-nephew Joshua Fish. He is survived by: his wife Karen Lynn Baugh (Gordon); his children, Jordan Sandy, Steven Swenson, Caitie Sandy and Nicole Martin; and his siblings, Donald Baugh of Mena, Arkansas and Patricia Fish. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews; 12 great-nieces and nephews; 5 great-great-nieces.
