She is survived by: her children, Joe Nathan Pearson, Jr., Ricky Phillips, Keith Custer, Louis Shavers and Valissia Douglas; her stepdaughter Tajuana Glason; her close friend Evert Glason; and her siblings, Nadine Jackson, Martha Bouie, Janice Shephard and Marvin Jackson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, host of great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
