Johnie was loved and cherished by many people including: husband James Powell; children, DeAndre Smith, Jamie Powell, William Powell, Dawn Powell, Nikki Smith (Dujuan) and Natasha Smith; and siblings, Elvance Ward (Luvinia), Bonnie Thomas and Gracie Thompson (James).
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church (850 Atkinson St, North Little Rock, AR 72117). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
