John Wayne Wilson Obituary
John Wayne Wilson, 61, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away at Cottage Lane Health and Rehabilitation on June 22, 2022. He was born on August 19, 1960 in Ripley, Mississippi to John Wilson and Doris Wilbanks. John was a Christian. He was a long-time resident of the Etowah, Arkansas community. He enjoyed fishing, traveling to Tunica, dancing, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include; two sons: John Wilson (Amanda) of Monette, Arkansas, Larry Wilson of Monette, Arkansas; one daughter: Lisa Austin-Wilson of Leachville, Arkansas; two sisters: Janie Wilbanks-Winkles of Mississippi, Patricia Winkles of Mississippi; three stepchildren: Barbara May, Sherry May, Wayne May; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
John is preceded in death by; his parents: John Wilson and Doris Wilbanks; loving wife: Carolyn Jean Carter Wilson; two brothers: Robert Wilson, Charles Wilbanks; and three sisters: Tammy Trammell, Velda Winkles, Janet Wilbanks.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Faith Funeral Service Chapel in Manila, Arkansas.
