He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Turner; and his daughter Jan Turner Carithers. He is survived by: his daughter Jean Turner Carter; his son-in-law Dan Carter of Little Rock, AR; his grandchildren, Catie Carter Thacker of Memphis, TN, Christen Carter (Hugh Lemond) of Little Rock, AR and Payne Carithers (Kelsi Lawson) of Wichita, KS; and his great grandchild Elaine Thacker of Memphis, TN..
