John David Rather Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2022, at the age of 78, John David Rather of Little Rock, Arkansas, born in Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter L. Rather and Elizabeth Rather of Hot Springs; his brother W. Douglas Rather of Rogers; and his nephews, Rad Harrison of Texas, David Karenbrock of Texas and Doug Karenbrock of Texas.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Harrison Rather; his daughters, Nicole Capri of Little Rock and Melissa Rather Brown of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Mason Douglas Darr, John Logan Rather Darr and Lillian Elizabeth Brown (Lily); his siblings-in-law, Richard Harrison (Marcia) of Burleson, TX and Shirley Rather of Rogers, AR; his nieces, Staci Phillips of Rogers, AR and Kirsten Harrison of Dallas, TX; and his nephew Mason Rather (Claire) of Sherman Oaks, CA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Henderson United Methodist Church or your favorite Veterans' organization.
