He is survived by: his wife Ruth Fletcher; his daughters, Susan Leon (Rafael), Anne Bell, Elizabeth Bell (Jill Peterson) and Charlotte Crawford (Paul); his grandchildren, April Sinha (Nikhil), Heddy Kerestes (Justin), Noel Leon (Rachel Shalev), Mary Balmer (Alexander), Daniel Leon (Haley Creed), Gabrielle Anand (Raja), David Bell, Lucy Kirby (Augustus), John Anderson (Sara), Inge Anderson, Dante Leon, Alex Crawford and Isabel Crawford; his great grandchildren, Peter, Benjamin, James, Charles, Lewis, Wesley Kerestes, Eva, Andrew, Jack Balmer, Theodore, Magnolia Sinha, Naomi, Natalie Shalev-Leon and Mathurin Kirby; his sister Joan Crockett; his nephews, James Crockett, John Crockett and Robert Crockett; and his niece Anne Warfield.
