He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Hillis and Martha E. Hillis. He is survived by: his daughters, Leigh Anne Hudson (Jim) of Saline County and Bobbie Jean Rutledge (Jonathan) of Crowley; his grandsons, James and William; and his brother John G. Hillis, Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas..
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery (7401 AR-5, Alexander, AR 72002).
