He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Goss and Grace Goss; his daughter Kimberly Lynn Goss; his siblings, O. J. Goss, Charles Goss and Mabel Edwards; and his grandson Kevin Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Goss; his sisters, Theda Ruetz and Barbara Ann Barnes; and his children, Kenya Fleming (Rick), Keith Goss and Karan Goss. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
