He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. James Frank Clark and Margaret Nesbitt Gibbs Clark; his wife Ann Porter; and his brother Robert Clark. He is survived by: his brother David Clark.
Many years later, Jim and some other men donated their time and resources to construct the first shooting fields at Blue Rock Sportsman's Club on the Arkansas River in North Little Rock.
