He was predeceased by: his parents, Hattie Dennie (Stovall) and Arthur Otto Dennie; and his siblings, John and Audrey. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, James Otto Dennie, Jr. (Debby) of Benton, AR, Les Dennie (Shelley) of Hernando, MS, Dana Heifner (Dennie) and Robby Dennie (Tara) of Little Rock, AR; his grandchildren, Adam Dennie, Jonathan Dennie, Josh Dennie, Zach Dennie, Jenna Sullivan, Lilly Heifner, Cash Heifner, Reagan Dennie, Anderson Dennie, Graham Dennie, Campbell Dennie, Keaton Dennie and Whitman Dennie; and his great grandchildren, Alma June and Bowen Lee.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Geyer Springs First Baptist Church (12400 I-30, Little Rock, AR 72210). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Geyer Springs First Baptist Church.
