“Heard about Pastor Brettell for years through various doctrinal churches. About 20 years ago, I was going through Little Rock and got the chance to visit his church one Sunday morning. I thoroughly enjoyed his teaching and went up after the class to just say hello. Dr. Brettell was very gracious to me, a perfect stranger, but invited me out to Sunday lunch and treated me to a great meal. I got fed both physically and spiritually. Congratulations on your promotion, Dr Jim.”
